Precision Conveyors are available with the following Link Lengths:
IMC can customize a Precision Link Conveyor system to meet your requirements. Common alterations include conveyor length, index distance and motion, link fixture mounting pattern, tooling plate configuration, line shaft configuration, support base design, drive package components and drive package arrangement.
Table Top Precision Link Conveyors
IMC Table Top Precision Link Conveyors are available in a variety of standard over/under and carousel configurations. They are available with or without a drive package and can be oriented in any direction without affecting capacity, accuracy, or ease of maintenance. Typically, they are mounted directly to
the top surface or the wall of the machined base.
Table Top conveyor drive packages feature a shrink disk mounted output overload clutch, which provides a zero backlash connection between the indexer and the conveyor. It also provides phase adjustability and added protection for the indexer, conveyor link assembly and custom tooling.
Heavy-Duty Precision Link Conveyors
IMC Heavy Duty Precision Link Conveyors are also available in over/under and carousel configurations. Both configurations include heavy duty legs and a precision machined base, all heavily ribbed to hold large loads and maintain system accuracy. Conveyors employ an open backbone design, allowing for convenient passage of tooling, drive shafts, timing chains and hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical lines through the center of the conveyor.
