Introduction
Industrial Motion Control, LLC (IMC) is a joint-venture company formed in 2001 between Ferguson Machine Co. and Commercial Cam Co. also known as CAMCO. CAMCO was a division of Emerson Electric Co. and Emerson Electric holds majority ownership of IMC. IMC operates within the Emerson Industrial Automation Group.
Ferguson has been in continuous operation since 1930 and was the inventor of cam index drives. CAMCO was established in 1939 and was a well-known manufacturer of cam index drives in the US.
Today, as IMC, Ferguson and CAMCO are the world's largest producer of camo-actuated index drives, utilizing state-of-the-art production equipment to provide the highest quality cam-actuated products. In addition to cam index drives, IMC product lines include custom cams, parts handlers, precision link conveyors and servo-mechanical drive systems.
IMC is headquarted in Wheeling, IL in the United States, with production bases in Wheeling and Brussels, Belgium. IMC has world wide sales and service networks covering North and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
